YEREVAN, 19 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. Cooperation with the European Union remains one of the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy. This is what Deputy of the faction of the Republican Party of Armenia of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, member of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee Tatchat Vardapetyan declared during the 15th session of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee. “Armenia and the European Union have signed several agreements and are collaborating within the framework of different programs that contribute to Armenia’s economic development,” Vardapetyan mentioned, as “Armenpress” reports.
According to the MP, the relations between Armenia and the European Union are growing, moving from cooperation to economic integration, as well as stronger political cooperation. He emphasized the fact that the European Union is still Armenia’s major trade partner with 34% of the total amount of trade.
