Iran and Armenia got common position on regional issues: Iranian MFA

TEHERAN, OCTOBER 24, ARMENPRESS: High level of cooperation exists between Iran and Armenia and on different regional issues the two countries have common position. This was stated by the Spokesperson of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Marzieh Afkham at the meeting with the journalists. Armenpress reports, citing the Wave periodical that in response to a journalist’s question, the Spokesperson of the Minister of Foreign Affairs said: “High level of cooperation exists between Iran and Armenia, serious agreements were reached between the two countries and we hope that in the nearest future the agreements will be implemented”.  

Marzieh Afkham added that on different regional issues Iran and Armenia have common position. The Spokesperson of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed certainty that the friendly relations of the two countries are not directed against the interests of other countries.
